I haven't read the book, but based on your review, I agree that she might have taken a more academic approach; but I for one am glad for books that don't use personality or a one-sided world view simply to make money (I'm looking at you, Glen). Its a fine line, and if you think she walks it, I may have to add this to my reading list!
